Risk factors for cancer are increasingly being identified and include exposure to numerous environmental toxins found in the home, workplace and surrounding environment as well as medical therapies, diet and physical activity, infections and genetic risk factors. This presentation will review some of the most significant exposures contributing to cancer risk, including many under-recognized ones, in an effort to aid physicians in assesses risk factors most relevant to their patients. In addition, individual risk factors, including genomic and nutritional risk factors will be reviewed.
